During a recent live concert in Salinopolis, Brazil, Brazilian musician Ayres Sasaki, 35, sadly passed away due to an unexpected on-stage accident. While performing, a fan who was wet embraced Sasaki, leading to an incident involving electrical contact that tragically resulted in his passing. Attendees were deeply affected by the event, which remains under investigation as authorities work to clarify the circumstances.

Rita Matos, Sasaki’s aunt, shared that the family is gathering details from individuals who were present to better understand the sequence of events. She mentioned, “We’re reaching out to those who were with him at that moment to gather information, and we’ll share an official statement soon.”

The venue, Solar Hotel, expressed condolences and pledged support to Sasaki’s family. In their statement, they said, “We are committed to assisting his family during this time and will take all appropriate actions to address this incident.”

Beyond music, Sasaki was also a skilled architect and urban planner. He leaves behind his wife, Mariana, to whom he had been married for just under a year. His friend Adriano Freitas reflected, “He was incredibly charismatic, talented, and one of the finest singers and guitarists from Belem.”
