Some men are known for doing good things, while others act so strangely that it’s hard to say anything nice about them. Maybe they have reasons for their actions, but it’s not always easy to see.
The Story:
When I had our daughter, my husband said he wanted a son. A year later, he started hinting that it was time to try for a boy. I didn’t mind, but I wanted to wait a few more years. He kept saying, “If you don’t do it, someone else will!”
When our daughter turned 3, he left the family. I found out he had been with another woman for 2 years, and she was pregnant. Our divorce took a long time, and he even tried to take half of our cutlery. He finally had the son he wanted, and two years later, another one. This happened 11 years ago.
Recently, my ex-husband’s mother called and asked to meet. I didn’t want to, but I agreed. She told me that my ex was getting divorced. The kids he had weren’t his. He had cheated again, and his new wife found out and filed for divorce.
He said he would fight for full custody of the boys, but then his wife revealed that they weren’t his, and a DNA test proved it. My ex’s mother asked me to forgive him and take him back because our daughter is his only child. Of course, I said no.
