Ever felt deep down that something is the right choice? That’s your intuition, also called a hunch or gut feeling. “Trust your gut” means listening to these feelings. It’s about following your instincts and staying true to yourself, which often leads you down the best path. These 11 people prove that trusting their gut has saved lives.
Here the Story:
When my brother and I were kids, we played hide and seek in our front yard. He was 3, and I was 6. My brother was supposed to find me, but he was taking a long time. I peeked around and saw him standing near the front gate, which led to the street.
I noticed a brown car with two men inside pull up. The car and the men were unfamiliar. They got out and started talking to my brother, moving closer to him. I felt panicked because I had learned about stranger danger in school and knew this wasn’t right.
I ran into the house and screamed, “Someone is trying to kidnap Steve!” My dad didn’t hesitate. He ran out the front door. When the men saw him, they quickly drove away. After that day, we weren’t allowed to play in the front yard anymore. It’s a really scary memory for me.
