My Husband Turned Our Wedding Night into a Catastrophe

On our wedding night, my husband, Scott, wanted intimacy, but I was too tired and asked for a conversation instead. Though frustrated, Scott agreed, and we went to bed. Later, I woke to find Scott kneeling by the bed, holding a baby. He introduced her as Ella, his orphaned niece. Confused, I asked why he hadn’t told me sooner, and he confessed that he feared I would leave if I knew about her. I was upset, but agreed to discuss it later.

The next day, we returned to Scott’s estate, and I questioned him about his stepsister, Maya, who had been estranged from the family. He insisted that the focus should be on Ella. Weeks later, I discovered a photo of Scott with a pregnant woman, possibly Maya, which contradicted his story. When I confronted him, he admitted that Maya was Ella’s mother, and he had secretly helped her despite their family’s estrangement.

I asked why he lied, and he confessed he wanted me to love Ella without the complications of her origins. This angered me, and I suggested we consider adoption for Ella, but Scott rejected the idea, insisting she was his responsibility. Our argument deepened, and I left the mansion, taking Ella to the beach for some time to think. There, a mysterious woman warned me that Scott had more secrets, including that Ella might not be his niece.

Later, Scott finally admitted that Ella was his daughter, not his niece. He had kept this from me, hoping I would accept her as his niece first. Devastated by his lies, I decided to leave him, but Scott begged me to stay for Ella’s sake. Months later, Scott returned to my apartment with Ella, apologizing and promising honesty. Despite my reservations, I agreed to try again.

However, things took another dark turn when a woman named Amanda appeared, claiming to be Scott’s ex-wife and the mother of his child, Renee. She revealed that Scott had been involved in a cult, and that Maya’s death had been connected to it. Amanda warned me that Scott had ulterior motives and was using me to produce a male child for the cult. I learned I was pregnant, and when Scott returned home, I confronted him, pretending to have terminated the pregnancy. He reacted violently, and the police arrested him for assault and the murder of his ex-partner.

As Scott was taken away, Amanda comforted me. Later, as I cared for Ella, Amanda reassured me that I would make a wonderful mother. But then, the scene shifted, and it was revealed that this entire story was part of a short film based on a misunderstanding from our wedding night. Scott, my co-star and real-life husband, praised my performance, and we laughed, realizing that even in the most chaotic moments, there’s always a story to tell.
