Full Story:
Tom had been married to Lisa for six years. Their relationship had once been full of passion, but lately, it felt like something was missing. When he met Sarah, a colleague from work, he was drawn to her energy and charm. What started as innocent flirting soon turned into a dangerous affair.
He told Lisa he was working late again, just like every other time, and made plans to meet Sarah at a hotel. The excitement of the secret made him feel alive, but little did he know, his lies were about to catch up with him.
That evening, as Tom and Sarah were wrapped up in each other, there came a knock on the hotel door. “Room service,” the voice called from outside.
Tom opened the door, expecting to see a hotel employee. But to his shock, standing there was Lisa. She looked furious, her face a mix of heartbreak and anger. She had followed him—he never knew she had grown suspicious.
“Tom, how could you?” Lisa’s voice shook as she pushed past him into the room, her eyes scanning the scene. Sarah quickly grabbed her things and fled, but Tom remained motionless, caught in the act.
Lisa turned to him, tears filling her eyes. “You’ve betrayed me in the worst way. I trusted you, and this is how you repay me?”
She reached for her wedding ring and threw it onto the bed with a loud clink. “I don’t know who you are anymore. I want a divorce.”
Without another word, Lisa walked out of the hotel room, leaving Tom standing there alone, stunned and helpless. He had lost everything—his wife, his family, and the trust he had shattered beyond repair.
