As I watched Tom sitting at a nearby table, his demeanor relaxed when engaging in conversation with another man, my heart raced. My mind immediately began to race with thoughts and suspicions. What was my husband doing here, in the middle of the day, meeting with another man? And why did he seem so at ease?
I observed from a distance, and my anxiety reached to its peak when I saw the exchange of an envelope between the two men. My imagination ran wild, conjuring up scenarios of secret dealings, hidden af_fairs, and be_trayals.
I was unable to contain my curiosity any longer, so I made my way over to their table. My steps were hesitant but determined. As I approached, I could feel the eyes of my colleagues on me, their curiosity piqued by my sudden departure from our lunch gathering.

I picked up the pictures, my hands trembling as I examined them. They were images of us – moments captured from our life together, from our wedding day to our recent vacation.
“I wanted to surprise you,” Tom explained, his eyes searching mine for a reaction. “I’ve been working on putting together a photo album of our memories, something to celebrate our love and the life we’ve built together.”Relief flooded through me, washing away the doubts and fears that had plagued me moments before.
