A woman shared a dramatic story that left everyone stunned. After her daughter was born, the new mom noticed that the baby didn’t look like her at all. She agreed to take a paternity test, but the results left her husband in shock.

The Story:

I’ve been married to my husband for two years, and we had our daughter five weeks ago. Our daughter was born with blonde hair and pale blue eyes, while both my husband and I have brown hair and brown eyes.

My husband freaked out and wouldn’t listen to my explanation that sometimes babies are born with lighter hair and eyes that darken over time. He insisted on a paternity test and even threatened divorce if I didn’t agree, so I went along with it.

After we got home from the hospital, my husband stayed at his parents’ house for the first three weeks to get some space while I recovered. He told them what was going on.

My mother-in-law called and told me that if the paternity test proved the baby wasn’t his, she’d make sure I got nothing in the divorce. Luckily, my sister helped me take care of the baby during this time.

The results came in yesterday, and my husband came home to read them with me. I was sitting on the couch, and we began to go over the results. They showed he was the father. My husband was shocked, his eyes wide in disbelief.

I couldn’t help but laugh and say, ‘I told you so,’ which made him even more upset. He got angry at me, and we argued for a while.

Later, my husband went back to his parents’ house to ‘clear his head,’ and a few hours later, my mother-in-law called to scold me for laughing at him, saying it was wrong to kick him while he was down.
