I hear voices in my son’s room.
Some people get scared without watching scary movies or reading scary books. Everyone has their own scary moments. There are clear reasons for some of these strange events, but others will make you question your sense of reality. There’s one thing for sure: the true story we found today will stay with you long after you’ve read it.
I got up at 3 a.m. to get water. From his room, I heard my son ask, “Mom, can you turn off the light?” Without a second thought, I turned it off. It hit me as I got back into bed that my son wasn’t home; he had gone camping. I froze when I saw that his room was empty after running to it.
I was sure I heard my son’s voice, or at least someone talking to me in a sleepy voice. My husband laughed when I told him about it, saying it was probably all in my head. But I’m sure the voice was real. I’m still scared of that moment.
