In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Prince discussed some of his father’s strange behaviors. He said they wore masks as kids to keep their identities a secret.
“I never thought about whether other kids lived like that when I was younger. But once I found out who he was, I realized it wasn’t normal,” Prince said.
He remembered a trip to Disneyland: “I went to the window, and there were all these fans waving and taking pictures of me. I thought it was normal, so I just waved back.”
In 2021, Jackson’s daughter, Paris, talked to supermodel Naomi Campbell on her YouTube show, No Filter. She shared about her father’s parenting style. Paris said her dad always made sure they “earned” their privileges.
