Some people think being a nanny is boring. Feeding a child, reading them a story, putting them to bed — nothing special. But that’s not always true. The nannies in our article shared their exciting experiences, and now we know this job can be anything but boring.

The Story:

I nannied for a rich couple, and the husband had a study in the house that the wife joked she was never allowed in. I was curious about why, especially since it looked like a normal room with a big desk and bookshelves full of architecture books.

So one day, I wandered around in there. I didn’t find anything interesting and felt a bit disappointed, but then I took a book off one of the shelves. There was money hidden in the pages — about $500. I checked another book and found the same thing.

I looked at around ten books, and every single one had money hidden in it. I’m still not sure if the husband didn’t trust banks or if he was hiding money from his wife.
