Parent-child relationships can be hard sometimes. But some people have amazing parents who always support them. Their heartwarming stories remind us to appreciate and hug our loved ones more.
I was building my house. That day, I didn’t have time to change my clothes and went home in old, dirty clothes. I had on a worn-out leather jacket, work pants, and old boots, all covered with dust, with a week’s stubble on my face and paint on my hands. I was walking like this in an underpass when a nicely dressed mom and her nicely dressed little boy were walking towards me. The toddler was not behaving well and loudly complaining.
His mom saw me and leaned over to her son, saying, “Look at this man… Sometimes, you can’t judge people by how they look. If you eat well, you’ll be big and strong like this man.” They walked past me, and I kept walking, smiling like a kid who just got a big bucket of ice cream.
