Memories of first love stay with us forever. Sometimes, someone you once loved can come back into your life in an unexpected way.
Here is the Story:
I had a childhood friend – we were friends since we were babies. We went to daycare, school, and college together. We even lived in the same dorm. But she betrayed me by stealing my first love. We had a big fight. I dropped out of college and moved to another city.
It’s been 10 years. I recently found her social media page. She is still with that guy. They have 2 children and good jobs. They are a normal, happy family. I have a husband I love and my own business. We don’t plan to have children and live for ourselves.
I found an old photo album with one picture of us together. I looked at it and silently thanked her. I guess it was meant to be this way.
