People Who Left Their Corporate Job and Started a New Life

Not everyone can leave their boring job and follow their dreams. But many who have done it don’t regret it at all. Even if they used to make a lot of money at a big company and now work as nail techs or soap makers, they are much happier now.

Working from home isn’t easy.
At 26, I quit teaching at school and started working from home. My mother-in-law gossiped, “She’s just staying at home and playing on the computer.” One day, she came in and yelled, “When are you going to get a job?!” You should have seen her face when I told her I was earning double what her son, my husband, made.

By the way, I still teach, but only at an online school. I wake up, put on makeup, wear a nice top, turn on my laptop, and I’m at work.
