Loreen and Frank met on a dating site many years ago.

Loreen, 37, wrote to us with a story that gave us chills. She shared how life can be more dramatic than any movie. Loreen met Frank on a dating site 10 years ago. Though she was popular and could easily start relationships, she never found a true soulmate. With Frank, everything clicked immediately, and they texted each other daily. They felt a strong connection but never met in person due to one major issue.

Loreen and Frank didn’t meet each other, though their feelings were mutual.

Loreen continues her story, saying, “Frank and I were scared that meeting in real life would be disappointing. I feared he might be different in person and that it would break my heart. I felt our virtual relationship was silly and told Frank. He understood and asked for just one promise: that if we didn’t find true love in the next nine years, we’d meet. I agreed, but then Frank stopped writing. I thought he found someone else and moved on, but I never forgot him.”

Years later, Frank wrote to Loreen again.

Loreen continues her story: “Nine years later, I was still single and recovering from a painful divorce. One day, I got a message from Frank, asking about my life. I thought of him every day and regretted not meeting him back then. Frank told me he disappeared because he had met someone, but it didn’t work out.

We finally met, fell in love, and got married in three months. It felt like a fairy tale, but just 24 days after our wedding, Frank died in a car crash. I was heartbroken; he was the love of my life.”

Loreen said, “Three months passed after Frank’s funeral, and I visited his grave every day. One day while I was there, I received a phone call that nearly made me faint—it was Frank. I thought I was going crazy, but he asked me to listen without interrupting.

It turned out it really was Frank, not a hallucination. The man I married was actually Frank’s twin brother, Fred, who had recently passed away. Like many twins, their lives were intertwined. Nine years ago, Frank disappeared due to a serious car accident that left him severely injured and in a coma for a year. After a long recovery, he felt he couldn’t reach out to me because he didn’t want to burden me.

All this time, Fred knew everything about our relationship and even impersonated Frank because he envied our connection. He stalked me, waiting for an opportunity. After I married and then divorced, he appeared as Frank to take advantage of our history.

However, fate intervened. Fred was in a serious accident and didn’t survive. I had been mourning Fred without realizing the truth. I was completely stunned by this revelation.

Frank and I finally reunited after over nine years apart. I’ve loved him all this time, and Fred was just a copy of his brother. We’re incredibly happy now, living our best life together. We’re also engaged.
